Missing us already?! Don’t worry we’re missing you too, but we’ve got some upcoming local events we think you should check out: here’s what you gotta see.
#PhiladelphiaGoddamn features artists who reflect on the truths of those marginalized, hurt, and left behind through public murals, videos, and intimate works.
Check out the opening reception Friday, October 14
Additionally don’t miss out on the artist panel discussion Wednesday, October 26th 6pm-8pm

Get your bike ready because this Sunday is Philly Full Moon Bike Ride
The full moon shines bright for Sunday so if you’re in be sure to meet at the bottom of the art museum steps by 8:00pm! Wear your helmets, bring additional bike lights, enjoy yourself.
Ps. It’s not recommended to bring children…sorry kiddos this one’s not for you.
And of course the best for last
If you’re interested in getting your drink on this weekend there’s no better way than to celebrate Oktoberfest at these two venues right here in Philly!
1. Dilworth Park hosts Oktoberfest with live music, beer, and snacks. On both Saturday and Sunday, the festival kicks off at noon with music from local DJs and performers.
It’s a pay as you go event so $$ that’s on you!
Here’s a link for more information: Dilworth Park Oktoberfest
Now go on, have a pint!
2. BLOCKTOBERFEST (guys, this one is my favorite)
All ages and all the good times all on South Street. From 15th and 18th streets. Saturday, October 15, noon-8 p.m.
The celebration features a huge selection of craft beer from around the country, delicious food from local restaurants and food trucks, live music and entertainment and family-friendly activities.
Beer proceeds from the neighborhood event are reinvested into community schools, projects and area organizations.
If you want beer tickets you can purchase them beforehand here: Blocktoberfest tix or purchase them during the event.
Keep in mind both Oktoberfest’s run rain or shine so enjoy your weekend folks!
